Understand whether an Amazon product actually makes money before you scale it. This downloadable Excel workbook is designed for UK Amazon sellers who want a clearer view of unit economics, margin and advertising headroom without building a spreadsheet from scratch.

What the calculator helps you work out

  • Net revenue with VAT-aware inputs
  • Landed product cost per unit
  • Amazon referral and fulfilment fees
  • Profit before advertising
  • Profit margin
  • Break-even ACOS
  • Target ACOS based on the profit you want to keep
  • Price scenario comparisons

Why these numbers matter

A product can generate plenty of revenue and still have very little room for advertising. Break-even ACOS shows the approximate ad-cost ratio at which the remaining contribution is consumed. A target ACOS lets you plan below that level so each attributed sale can still leave profit.

The workbook is especially useful when comparing a price change, checking a new product before launch, reviewing a supplier-cost increase or deciding whether a PPC target is realistic.

Built for repeat use

Enter your own selling price, VAT treatment, landed cost and marketplace fees. You can then update the figures whenever Amazon fees, sourcing costs or price change instead of relying on a one-off online calculation.

Format: Microsoft Excel workbook. Digital download only.

Licence: For use by one purchaser or legal business entity. No resale, redistribution or sharing as a template product.

Important: CalcCommerce is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon. Marketplace fees and tax treatment change over time. Verify current Amazon fees and your own VAT/tax position before relying on any output. The workbook is a business-planning tool, not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice.
